The Libertarian Party of Connecticut maintains this special email list for discussing libertarian issues and philosophy. It is generally appropriate to post pretty much any message to this list as long as it is related to libertarianism.

The Activists email list is for alerts and brief discussions about libertarian issues that require action or important announcements about party activities.

Features of the Opinions mailing list:

You can subscribe or unsubscribe at any time.
The volume of email fluctuates.
Only list members can send email to the list, and it must be sent from the registered address. You will not receive spam through this mailing list.
Individual email addresses are not displayed.
The email address of the message sender is displayed.

How to subscribe to the Opinions email list:

Send an email message to lpct-opinions-subscribe@dld2000.com with no other special text required. You will receive a confirmation email. Usually all you have to do is send a reply. The directions are in the body of the confirmation email. Email from the list will be sent to this address and you will be able to post to the list only from this address.

How to unsubscribe from the Opinions email list:

Send an email message to lpct-opinions-unsubscribe@dld2000.com with no other special text required. Send the unsubscribe request from the email address you wish to unsubscribe.

How to send email to the members of the Opinions email list:

Send an email message to from your registered email address and it will be resent to the entire Opinions list.
As the sender of the message, your email address will be displayed as part of the message.
Please be civil and considerate when sending to the list. Is it something you'd want to receive?

Please put "need assistance - Opinions list" in the subject line and describe your troubles in the body of the email.

Please remember, libertarians respect privacy. This email list is maintained privately on our server and is not shared with any other organization.

Please also remember that this email list is private property and no person has a right to use the list. If you disregard general, established email list etiquette you will be gently reminded what the list is for (no hard feelings). In extreme situations of repeated lack of cooperation you may be removed from the list and restricted from re-joining.
