Events & Meetups
LPCT events are open, voluntary, and grassroots-driven. Whether you’re a long-time libertarian, newly curious, or just looking for serious conversation outside the two-party echo chamber, you’re welcome.
What happens at an LPCT event?
If you’ve never attended a political event before, don’t overthink it. Most of our events are casual, respectful, and built for real people—not “party insiders.”
- Open discussion about issues, ideas, and current events
- Educational talks (speakers, panels, or topic-focused sessions)
- Organizing & outreach for elections, ballot access, and activism
- Social meetups — conversations with people who value liberty
Some events are virtual, some are in-person. Newcomers are explicitly welcome. You don’t have to speak, join, or agree with everything—showing up is enough.

For the full list (including affiliate meetups), use the LPCT Calendar. Click any event for details (location, format, and RSVP info). You do not need to be a party member to attend public events.
Don’t see an event near you?
LPCT events are organized by members and volunteers across Connecticut. If you don’t see something nearby: attend a virtual event, join our email list, or help start a local meetup—we’ll support you. Local affiliates is the best place to start.
