Visit the Libertarian Party of Connecticut at the Harwinton Fair

Members and volunteers from the Libertarian Party of Connecticut will be at the 2026 Harwinton Fair throughout the weekend of October 2, 3, and 4.

Stop by the LPCT tent to meet local Libertarians, pick up free freedom-themed stickers, ask questions, and learn how you can help bring a practical, liberty-focused alternative to your town and community.

Come Meet Connecticut Libertarians

Whether you are already a Libertarian, politically independent, frustrated with the two major parties, or simply curious about our ideas, you are welcome to visit us.

At the LPCT tent, you can:

  • Meet members and volunteers from the Libertarian Party of Connecticut.
  • Learn more about the party’s principles, priorities, and work across Connecticut.
  • Pick up free liberty and freedom-themed stickers.
  • Sign up for LPCT news, events, and volunteer opportunities.
  • Discuss forming or joining a town affiliate or regional affiliate.
  • Learn how local affiliates can organize around issues affecting their communities.
  • Talk with us about running for local, state, or federal office.
  • Discuss taking a more active role in your town’s boards, commissions, and elections.
  • Share concerns about taxes, affordability, civil liberties, farming, property rights, and accountable government.

Interested in Running for Office?

Connecticut needs more candidates who are willing to challenge entrenched political interests and put individual liberty, fiscal responsibility, and accountable government first.

If you have ever considered running for town office, the General Assembly, or another elected position, visit our tent and speak with us. We can explain the first steps, discuss possible races, and help connect prospective candidates with LPCT organizers.

Build Liberty in Your Town

Lasting political change begins locally. We are especially interested in meeting residents who want to organize Libertarians in their towns, establish local affiliates, recruit candidates, attend municipal meetings, and defend their communities from unnecessary taxes, mandates, and government overreach.

Farmers, homesteaders, property owners, small-business owners, parents, homeschoolers, and residents concerned about the future of Connecticut are encouraged to stop by and tell us what issues matter most to them.
